25 km hills on the exercise bike took 1hr 28 mins and used 928kcal. Level 8 after I entered my age and weight.
I learned that this is definitely too much to do without a drink. Nipped down the V-cafe straight after and picked up a bottle of what turned out to be http://www.taut.co.uk/ - the Official Drink of the British triathlon team. Coincidence? Perhaps ......

Did the drink make a difference to recovery in comparison to water ? They seem to work for me but I wonder how much is psychosomatic ?
