I came out of the office intending to turn right and go to the gym but noticed Pete and Mark enjoying a social drink under the bandstand. I wandered over to say hello, one thing led to another - it would have seemed churlish to refuse the offer to join them - so I was thrown a day off by life.

Pathetic !

I fully intended a little Gym-age this lunchtime.
I was on the pop all day yesterday and I am more than jaded.
I changed ready to train then, noticing that I had my bathers on I whopped off the T and went for a sauna instead.
Lazy Git !!

Shall I enlist the services of a personal trainer for a month or two ?
I have been taking training too easily of late and I need to rediscover the eye !

Crocked

Seems I've been doing Muay Thai for a year now. Ironically, training is in limbo this week as I am still injured from sparring on Monday. All I could manage yesterday was:

I am extremely out of shape - unless you consider a large beer gut to be a pleasing aspect ?

Loads of food but no booze.

Time to get back on track !

Hit The Deck

I shunned the gym in lieu of work around the house. I dumped all the earth and rocks that had been dug out for the decking but not used to level the rest of the garden. I hit a rythm and ended up taking most of the contents of the Garage to be variously recycled and dumped. I then went to Jo's folks house and dumped all of their accumulated junk and patio waste.
By the end of the day my hands were so tired I could not make enough of a fist to hold onto the steering wheel of the car.

Luckily a pint glass has a greater girth than a steering wheel !
